This is a basic Emergency First Responder course. During this course, you will learn the basic knowledge to provide Primary and Secondary Care to a person who requires immediate medical attention. You will learn basic life support skills such as CPR, as well as basic care for non-life-threatening situations such as bandaging and splinting. Your instructor will lead you through this course, with the help of a video and textbook to guide you through your knowledge development in the classroom. Your instructor will then guide you through the 8 Primary Care skills and 4 Secondary Care skills. After your skills development you will have a chance to practice your skills in a staged Final Scenario. Even though you will be learning serious knowledge and skills, fun is emphasized during the course.
